We are looking for a “HEAD OF REGIONAL LOGISTICS MEA” for our international client which is leading in Chemicals Industry.

  • Bachelor degree
  • Minimum 10 years experienced in Warehouse and Logistic Management
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Advanced business understanding and ability to conduct strategic / tactical process planning based on business needs
  • International cross-culture exposure and ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of an organization as change agent
  • Ability to seamlessly partner with business and Service organizations on direction and prioritization
  • Decision making & strategic thinking skills, outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to influence people beyond own area of responsibility
  • Experience in leading intercultural teams, financial management skills, negotiation capabilities, in-depth knowledge of respective functional process domain
  • Ability to lead change and establish new services for the business

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Strategy Development and implementation
  • Develop and implement Regional Logistics strategy and processes in accordance to BU service levels
  • Develop and maintain the regional logistic service organization
  • Promote and support best practice implementations in processes and organizations
  • Set regional and country targets including service levels with Bus and budgets and ensure achievement
  • Processes, governance and stakeholder management
  • Support development and promote implementation of best practices leading or being champion of projects
  • Supervise adherence of process to best practices
  • Ensure that logistic compliance and regulatory guidelines are defined and followed
  • Track performance using harmonized set of process KPIs indicating overall end-to-end process performance
  • Define together with BU targets and ensure achievement as part of continuous improvement thinking
  • Ensure continuous optimization of services and organizations to meet BU objectives of service levels and cost
  • Continuously scout for innovative and sustainable solutions significantly improving company’s operations
