We are looking for a “Senior Brand Manager”  that will be based in Istanbul for our global client which is leading in FMCG Industry with brands sold in over 200 markets, made in 44 factories in 42 countries.

 

The position is to maximize the potential of our brands by developing and ensuring implementation of brand strategies which will assist in the achievement of corporate objective

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the overall Marketing strategy, plan and brand portfolio strategy
  • Oversee and input into the development of brand plans and activities within the brands to ensure alignment to Brand Portfolio, Consumer Space and Brand strategies as communicated by the Central / Regional Brand teams
  • Adhere to the Global Brand Governance matrix, seeking appropriate governance and oversight in line with brands Global portfolio positioning
  • Manage local marketing mix elements (price management and distribution) for Global and International Focus Brands
  • Manage Brand Group budget and profitability through cost and Marketing spend control and pricing and excise management
  • Develop people within Brand Group to ensure talented individuals within the organization feel motivated and can progress further. Ensure that Brand Managers are well trained and motivated to successfully plan, develop and execute brand programmers
  • Build relations with external Agencies to ensure that first class service levels and products within agreed budgets are received
  • Champion innovation in products and processes in order to achieve competitive advantage
  • Work closely with Trade Marketing and Operations to ensure brand strategy is executed throughout the supply chain

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
 

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar background
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Brand experience in a FMCG company
  • Trade Marketing experience will be a plus
  • Brand strategy development, brand positioning and brand portfolio management experience
  • Product development experience
  • Effective communication, negotiation, influencing and planning skills
  • Motivating, coaching and developing other individuals
