QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputable university,
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the automotive sector,
  • Deep knowledge and experience in direct, indirect, and import purchasing,
  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken),
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills,
  • High-level strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities,
  • Leadership and team management skills,
  • Proficient in purchasing software and ERP systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manage Direct, Indirect, and Import Purchasing Processes: Develop and implement strategies for all purchasing activities within the company.
  • Create and Monitor Purchasing Budgets: Prepare and monitor purchasing budgets, ensuring cost control.
  • Manage Supplier Relationships: Strengthen relationships with existing suppliers and negotiate contracts with new suppliers.
  • Develop Cost Optimization and Efficiency Strategies: Create strategies to improve purchasing processes and increase operational efficiency.
  • Market Analysis and Strategic Purchasing Decisions: Analyze market trends and make strategic purchasing decisions in line with company needs.
  • Lead and Develop the Purchasing Team: Manage the purchasing team, provide guidance for their development, and track their performance in line with set targets.
  • Handle Automotive Industry-Specific Purchasing Activities: Manage purchasing processes specific to the automotive sector and stay updated with industry developments.
  • Ensure Effective Communication and Coordination with Internal and External Stakeholders: Establish and maintain efficient communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
