QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputable university,
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the automotive sector,
- Deep knowledge and experience in direct, indirect, and import purchasing,
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken),
- Strong negotiation and communication skills,
- High-level strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities,
- Leadership and team management skills,
- Proficient in purchasing software and ERP systems.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage Direct, Indirect, and Import Purchasing Processes: Develop and implement strategies for all purchasing activities within the company.
- Create and Monitor Purchasing Budgets: Prepare and monitor purchasing budgets, ensuring cost control.
- Manage Supplier Relationships: Strengthen relationships with existing suppliers and negotiate contracts with new suppliers.
- Develop Cost Optimization and Efficiency Strategies: Create strategies to improve purchasing processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Market Analysis and Strategic Purchasing Decisions: Analyze market trends and make strategic purchasing decisions in line with company needs.
- Lead and Develop the Purchasing Team: Manage the purchasing team, provide guidance for their development, and track their performance in line with set targets.
- Handle Automotive Industry-Specific Purchasing Activities: Manage purchasing processes specific to the automotive sector and stay updated with industry developments.
- Ensure Effective Communication and Coordination with Internal and External Stakeholders: Establish and maintain efficient communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
